Lindsay Mico specializes in the design and analysis of complex environmental assessment programs. His specific expertise includes fluvial geomorphology, statistics, GIS analysis, aquatic monitoring protocols (such as EMAP or AQI), biochemistry, molecular biology, and sediment issues of all kinds. He holds a degree from UC San Diego in Cognitive Neurosciences and a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from UC Berkeley. His love of the natural world led him back to his home state of Oregon to pursue a career in environmental science. Prior to founding Demeter Design with Cara, he worked as a biologist for the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife and as a hydrology technician for Bureau of Land Management. |

Cara Mico specializes in restoration planning and implementation. Her specific expertise includes natural resources policy and law, GIS analysis and imaging, habitat assessments, botany, project management, and graphic design. She holds a degree from Oregon State University in Natural Resources with an emphasis on Watershed Restoration Sciences and Policy. Prior to attending Oregon State, she studied at Otis College of Art and Design. As a formally trained artist, she offers a suite of graphical products and services such as cartography, website design, presentation design, and pre-press publishing. Prior to founding Demeter Design with Lindsay, she worked as an environmental educator and project manager in Tillamook County.

Jennifer Schleis specializes in habitat assessment and monitoring. She holds a degree in Environmental Sciences in Environmental Economics and Management with an emphasis in Water Resources from The University of Georgia. Her background includes aquatic genetic research as well as analytical chemistry methodologies of water, soil and air quality parameters. In tandem to employment at Demeter Design, she is currently a Lead Chemist at Chester LabNet, inorganic air quality laboratory. |
Eadaoin O'Drudy specializes in restoration project management. Her expertise includes project management, technical writing and editing, policy analysis including NEPA documentation, and has been involved in strategic planning and program support to Department of Defense and Department of Navy environmental clients. She holds a degree in Integrated Science and Technology from James Madison University with a major in Environmental Sciences and a minor in Environmental Information Systems. Prior to working at Demeter Design she was a senior consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton.
